Genuine Filter Queen power nozzle head fiber brush bearing washer.  These only are used on the older style brushes with removable bearings.

1 fiber washer is needed on each side of the brush along with the metal washer to prevent damage to the power nozzle base.  Damage will be over heating and warping of the mounting guides for the bearing.  Warping will lead to the belt running off center causing belt breakage bearing damage.

Many owners loose these washers when changing the belt and do not know it.  If washers come off during belt or bearing changing install them on the brush in this order.

  1. Metal washer
  2. Fiber washer
  3. Bearing on the shaft

Installation note

The brush needs to inserted with the bearing bump facing up depending how worn the brush is.  New brushes are always in the up position.

Be sure that each bearing is inserted the same.  Bearing is designed with  riser bumps to lower the brush to the carpet when the brush wears down.

To lower pull the brush assembly out and rotate the bearings so the bump is inserted in the down position.
