This is the new style gasket for all Filter Queen's now.

Reason is that there are more filter products that can be added to the machine like Medipure, Enviropure.  These product will go on top of your existing filter cone.  When they were added to the old style gasket it increased the chance of kinking the filters.  That will cause the secondary motor filter to get clogged quickly and over heat the machine and cause damage in not caught right away.

The newer style is wider and goes down a ways into the canister to support the extra filters and prevents kinks.  The 3 safety tabs should still show.
